Critical Renewable Energy Vote
The Senate is considering important legislation to renew tax incentives for wind, solar, and energy efficiency measures that are due to expire at the end of the year. HR 6049, the Renewable Energy and Job Creation Act, extends tax credits and other incentives that have stimulated expansion of wind and solar energy development, and encouraged investments in energy-efficient buildings and appliances. If the incentives expire, billions of dollars in investments will be at risk
Please contact your senators and urge them to vote yes on HR 6049.
