Under the leadership of Evan Rice, our state coordinator, Minnesota REP became increasingly visible. Here are some of Evan's activities in 2005:
- He manned a table two weekends in a row in April and May, at the Living Green Expo in Minneapolis. Evan even took his young children, William and Bromley, to the event. More than 15,000 visitors passed through, and REP received “an overwhelmingly positive response.”
- Evan recorded radio spots to encourage Senator Norm Coleman to continue voting against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
- He made an appearance on KSTP's "At Issue" program.
- He gave a statement on preserving the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge at the Minneapolis office of Senator Norman Coleman
- He gave a statement honoring Congressman Jim Ramstad at the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge in Bloomington; August 24, 2005
